Unit – Connecting Fastcall to Twilio

This unit will take you through the Fastcall connection to Twilio.

This unit assumes you have completed the previous units in the Fastcall Setup module.

Introduction

When you install Fastcall during your free 7-day trial in a paid Salesforce org we’ll set you up with a connection to our Twilio account and a small amount of credit so you can test Fastcall easily. When you’ve completed the trial and want to use Fastcall for your users, Fastcall will activate this Twilio sub-account. We talk more about Twilio and pricing on this page.

(When testing in a sandbox or dev org you will need to contact us for the Twilio account.)

1. Open the ‘VoIP’ settings tab

In the Fastcall settings menu, go to Admin Settings > VOIP Settings

2. Twilio is managed entirely in Fastcall (mostly)

Phones are provisioned in Fastcall; numbers verified. All your call reports will be in Salesforce. There are a few advanced settings we may need to edit in Twilio directly, for example, moving phone numbers.
