How Can We Help?

Unit – Connecting Fastcall to Twilio

This unit assumes you have completed the previous units in the Fastcall Setup module.

Introduction

When you install Fastcall during your free 7-day trial in a paid Salesforce org we’ll set you up with a connection to our Twilio account and a small amount of credit so you can test Fastcall easily. When you’ve completed the trial and want to use Fastcall for real, Fastcall will activate this Twilio sub-account. Check here for more information on Twilio and usage pricing. See this page for more information on installing Fastcall in a sandbox.

(When testing in dev org you will need to open a case for the Twilio account.)

Twilio is managed entirely in Fastcall (mostly)

Phones are provisioned in Fastcall; numbers are verified. All your call reports will be in Salesforce. There are a few advanced settings we may need to edit in the Twilio subaccount directly, for example, international dialing rights. Fastcall manages this. Note: Fastcall can help port any existing phones once the paid subscription starts.

Next steps

OK, you are finished with this module. Fastcall is installed, You made a test call, quickly looked at the page layouts, and tested inbound call routing. No worries. We have many more resources for you. The next modules are organized under Fastcall Administrative Guide and cover our capabilities in depth.
