If your organization sends SMS or MMS messages to U.S. phone numbers using standard 10-digit long-code (10DLC) numbers, you generally need to register your business and messaging use case through the A2P 10DLC system.

A2P stands for Application-to-Person messaging, and 10DLC refers to standard 10-digit local phone numbers used for business messaging. Registration helps mobile carriers identify legitimate business messaging traffic and enforce messaging policies.

A2P 10DLC registration is separate from STIR/SHAKEN, which relates to caller identity verification for voice calls.

Fastcall helps you manage the registration process by collecting the business and messaging information required for your registration.

Information Required for Registration

To register your business and messaging campaign, you’ll need to provide information about your organization and how you plan to communicate with customers.

Business Profile

First, you have to submit your Business Profile in Fastcall Settings. Prepare the following details about your organization:

Legal Business Name – Your business’s official registered name.
Physical Business Address – Your organization’s registered or physical address.
Business Type – For example, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, cooperative, LLC, or nonprofit.
Company Type – Private or public.
Stock Ticker and Exchange – Required for publicly traded companies, where applicable.
Business Registration Number – Such as an EIN or other applicable business registration identifier, including its type.
Industry – The industry in which your business operates.
Website – Your organization’s official website.
Business Phone Number – A contact number for your organization.
Social Media Profile – A business profile URL, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, or X, if applicable.
Regions of Operation – The countries or regions where your business operates.
Executive Contact – The name and contact details of an appropriate executive representative, when required.

Make sure the information matches your official business records. Inaccurate or inconsistent details may delay registration or result in rejection.

A2P Campaign Information

You’ll also need to explain how your organization uses SMS or MMS. Prepare the following details:

Campaign Use Case – Select the category that best describes your messages, such as customer care or another applicable business use case.
Campaign Description – Briefly explain why you send messages and what recipients can expect to receive.
Sample Messages – Provide at least two examples of the messages you intend to send.
Links and Phone Numbers – Indicate whether your messages will contain embedded links or phone numbers, as requested during registration.

Your campaign description and sample messages should accurately reflect your actual messaging practices. If your organization uses messaging for different purposes, make sure the selected use case and examples represent those activities appropriately.
