This unit explains how to effectively use Fastcall’s Voicemail Drop feature. Please note that your administrator must enable this feature for you.
Introduction
The VM drop feature is triggered by the User, it is not automatic!
When activated, Fastcall’s VM Drop disconnects the calling user and plays a pre-recorded message. The use case is that when the user hits a voicemail box, upon hearing “the beep”, they can quickly drop the message and move on to the next call, thereby saving valuable time.
Setting the voicemail drop message
Voicemail Drop can utilize any of the user’s pre-recorded messages. These messages are set up under Settings > Messages, as detailed further in this unit.
Dropping the message

During an outbound call, the VM Drop icon will appear at the bottom of the Widget on the ‘Actions’ footer. By clicking the icon, you can select from a list of pre-recorded messages. Additionally, the list can be filtered by tags to help you quickly find the appropriate message.

Once you select a message, you will be disconnected from the call, and the message will be played automatically in the background.
