For the US & Canada:
- Telecom carriers are already blocking calls originating in phone numbers that cannot attest a SHAKEN/STIR trust level.
- Starting on August 31st all SMS traffic from phone numbers that do not belong to an A2P 10DLC campaign and brand, will be blocked.
Approval Process
Once you submit a Regulatory Bundle, it will take up to 3 business days to verify if the information meets Regulatory Requirements.
You can check the approval state in the approval process section.

Business Profile
Submitting your business information enables customers to create an identity that can be used to unlock multiple communication services, such as SHAKEN/STIR and Branded Calls.
Go to the Fastcall Settings and under Admin Settings > Regulatory Compliance > Business Profile add your business information to register your Business Profile.
- Legal Business Name
- Business Type
- Company Type
- Business Registration Number/Tax EIN
- Industry
- Website
- Social Media Profile URL (LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook)
- Regions of Operations

Authorized Representatives
Your authorized representatives will be contacted to verify your identities. Please ensure that they are contactable via email and phone.
- First and last name
- Business Title
- Job position
- Phone number

CNAM
CNAM stands for Caller ID Name. CNAM is a feature in the United States public telephone network that identifies an incoming caller by a personal or business name associated with the phone number.

Physical Business Address

SHAKEN/STIR
SHAKEN/STIR uses encrypted digital signatures to share information about the caller to each provider along a call’s path from caller to recipient, such as the caller’s identity and whether the caller has the right to use the phone number they provided as the caller ID.
Register all your existing phone numbers on your business profile. Needed for SHAKEN/STIR and CNAM.

A2P Messaging (SMS)
All SMS and MMS messages sent to U.S. phone numbers using 10DLC phone numbers must be sent via a registered application-to-person (A2P) Campaign. Messages sent using unregistered phone numbers will be subject to a gradual increase in message blocking by Twilio or carriers.
In order to prevent this, you need to create an SMS campaign to assign your phone numbers.
Go to A2P Campaigns settings, and add a campaign in the “+” icon on the table.

To create a new A2P Campaign you have to add:
- SMS campaign use case
- Description
- 2 SMS examples
- Explain how end users consent to receive messages

Then you have to assign the A2P campaign to the phone number. Go to the phone number detail, and select it in the SMS SETTINGS section.

Go here for more information about A2P 10DLC.
Phone Regulatory Bundles
Due to country specific regulations, you’ll need to create a Regulatory Bundle for each type of phone number, so you can provision and use phone numbers legally.
For example, if you need to provision and use German Toll-Free phone numbers, you’ll need to create and submit a Regulatory Bundle for this type of phone number.
For each Regulatory Bundle, you will have to upload Supporting Documents.

To create a new Regulatory Bundle you have to add:
- Phone number’s Country
- Type
- Name: Use a unique nickname you will easily recognize.
- Email to get notifications.

Once you submit a Regulatory Bundle, it will take up to 3 business days for Twilio to verify if the information meets Regulatory Requirements.
