Introduction to 8.75
Explore our latest update, where we’ve fixed various bugs, and added exciting new features to enhance your experience. Following, we present some of these changes.
Recordings – Migration to AWS S3
We are introducing a new feature that allows users to copy call recordings from Twilio to an Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 bucket.
If this capability is enabled, you’ll find a new section under Admin Settings > Call Handling > Training Tools > Call Recording, which allows the system to automatically copy recordings from Twilio to your designated AWS S3 storage.

Call Results – Assign to Groups
We’ve introduced the ability to assign Call Results to specific groups, allowing for more streamlined organization and reporting. This feature helps teams manage call outcomes more efficiently by categorizing results according to your workflow or business needs.

Updated Phone Management
Improved CNAM and SHAKEN/STIR Registration
SHAKEN/STIR is a framework designed to combat robocalls and caller ID spoofing. It verifies the authenticity of caller ID information using digital certificates, helping ensure that the call actually originates from the displayed number. This update improves the trustworthiness of calls and enhances call security for both businesses and customers.
CNAM is a service that displays the name associated with a phone number during an incoming call. With this update, the management of CNAM entries has been enhanced to allow multiple entries, offering greater flexibility in customizing caller ID names for different phone numbers or business lines.
We’ve migrated SHAKEN/STIR and CNAM management to Heroku, enabling a more robust infrastructure for handling call security and identity services. Additionally, this update allows support for multiple CNAM entries, providing greater flexibility and control over caller ID management.
More information about SHAKEN/STIR and CNAM here and here.
Data Model Improvements
New Call Participant Object: A Call Participant object has been added to the data model, allowing for improved management of calls with multiple participants. This object establishes a relationship between a call and its participants, enabling more accurate tracking and reporting for calls involving multiple individuals.
