In this update – V 2.10 FastCall introduced call goals and other improvements to task creation. The improvements to Task and Call Score are detailed in this deep dive.
In the current development cycle we are again focusing on inbound call routing. Today, FastCall inbound call routing will pop an incoming call to the softphone only (using Twilio client.) In 2.20 we will introduce realtime notification so that we can pop incoming calls when answered by your hard phone and/or mobile phone. Realtime (RT) will also improve error notification. As the name implies, RT improves our ability to push notification into the browser.
In addition to RT, we are working on auto call distribution so that inbound calls can be rotated to users round robin (ACD is required by our BeLocal feature.) You will see further improvements to app organization and – we hope – ease of use.
