The Fastcall Voicemail Drop is an awesome sales productivity tool and works great in combination with Dial by List and Sales Console. Available in the Fastcall Sales + Edition.
- Pick your pre-recorded voicemail
- Listen for the tone
- Then drop from the call
- The name of the message is used as the call result
- Recorded messages can be assigned to a single user, or a group of users
- Messages are recorded in Fastcall under Automated messages
There are automated phone applications that use automated answering machine detection, and Twilio does offer this. The Twilio command is “if machine” Problem with automated detection is that there is a slight delay when a call is answered. And automated detection is not very accurate.
Fastcall calls our method “human assisted” answering machine detection. The user must listen for the call to be answered by the machine or voicemail, and listen for the beep. At the sound of the beep you drop the message. When the voicemail is dropped, the third leg of the call is introduced, and the user is dropped out of the conf. You do not need to hold on after you drop the message.
NOTE: Timing is important. If you know you are going to leave a message, you want to be ready to select the message at the moment you hear the beep.
Last, when the Voicemail Drop is used, Fastcall will use the title of the Voicemail as your Call result.
In Fastcall Settings on My Settings you can create, edit and delete Recorded Messages. This messages are enable for your Voicemail drops
