Following our major widget update in Fastcall version 4.0, we release Version 4.1.
Overflow action in IVR – call can now be transferred to a phone number not associated with a user and this does not require a user license. When calls are routed to a Fastcall user, that user can be offline or logged out and the call will go to the next user or to voicemail. In Version 4.1 we gave the option to transfer to a fixed phone, such as a call center so the user is never logged out.
Other call transfer improvements include:
- Create task when transferring to an overflow phone number
- Add a “No answer IVR” when transferring to an overflow phone number
- Allow call recording when transferring to an overflow phone number
- General structure improvements and settings tweaks
In Version 4.1 we continued to update the backend code in the widget and our core call logic. While these changes are not always user facing, users should notice an improvement. We fixed bugs and lots of small issues.
